Cheque imaging is also about providing customers with more choice, and it means that some banks and building societies may offer their personal banking customers the option of paying-in an image of the cheque – by using a secure mobile banking app on their smartphone or tablet – rather than having to go to a bank branch to pay it in.

For business and charity customers, banks may provide desktop cheque scanners linked to their online bank account, allowing them to pay in, as digital images, large numbers of cheques that they receive at their business or organisation’s premises.

Our Service Plans

Level 1 Support Plan

Our in-service cheque scanner support plans provide customers and scanner users with a choice of ongoing, or ad hoc maintenance solutions.

A dedicated customer service call centre, linked to the technical support team, provides the gateway to the support programme, accessible online, by email or telephone.

Level I – Swap Out Support Plan

The most frequently implemented plan, Level 1 Support, a next day swap-out service, enables a customer to register a scanner which is not working, either via telephone or online, and an equivalent unit is delivered the next working day. Within a fixed cost per annum, per scanner, this programme ensures that no scanner is out of service for more than one working day, irrespective of the location, frequency of swap out, or reason for failure.

Each individual scanner is identified on the Support Tracking System, with a lifetime history of shipment, installation, location, failure rate, item scan count and cleaning regime. All this information can be made available to customers.

Scanner Drivers

Before installing this scanner driver, please contact your bank or deposit software provider. 

Many deposit software packages self-install our driver and overwriting it could cause conflicts.

Simply click on the the link below to access the ScanLite driver.

The ScanLite demo program is a utility that you can use to test your scanner without being connected to your bank’s online deposit software. It can run the device’s motors and image sensors to capture images offline and assess speed and image quality. It is also used to activate the cleaning function on some models of our scanners. Use the links below to download ScanLite.

Please note: ScanLite is NOT a standalone program for depositing cheques, and all data is erased upon exiting the program.
