Business Process Outsourcer (BPO) Parseq won the Company to Watch for Excellence in the Industry Award at last night’s Global Sourcing Association’s (GSA) Professional Awards ceremony.
The GSA judges showcased Parseq as a leading example of strategic sourcing excellence. Its exemplary model to client partner relationships were upheld as delivering optimal outcomes for clients, centred around leadership, proactivity, communication, transparency and safety.
The award also recognised Parseq’s ground-breaking approach to continuing vital business operations when the UK entered lockdown in March 2020. Over the past few months, the business has achieved all client Service-Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintained seamless service delivery, all whilst prioritising the safety of its people. All of this was evident in the exceptional feedback received from major banking and financial services clients.
Parseq is a trusted business services partner, with a client base spanning FTSE 100 financial services companies, utility providers, telecoms operators, manufacturers and local authorities. It employs more than 300 people across three sites in the UK, and operates sites in Sofia, Bulgaria and Pune, India.
Craig Naylor-Smith, CEO of Parseq, said: “To be awarded the Company to Watch for Excellence in the Industry is of the highest accolade. This really is testament to the monumental team effort across our entire business.
“It reflects our agility, resilience and commitment to meeting client requirements which rings particularly true over these past few months. Through our responsiveness and ability to deliver digital, automated solutions, we’ve played a critical role in helping to keep the economy moving. This recognition goes to all of our employees in the UK, India and Bulgaria.”
Parseq was up against 64 finalists and scooped up the top prize for excellence during the first virtual awards ceremony held by the GSA.
Kerry Hallard, CEO of the Global Sourcing Association UK said: “Huge congratulations to all the winners. Well deserved wins across the spectrum of the sourcing industry demonstrating the great talent in this space, but also showcasing the great work delivered by teams around the world. These were highly competitive awards again this year and as such I must also recognise the great work of all those individuals and organisations that made it to the shortlist.
“I’m so incredibly proud of how well the global strategic sourcing industry has responded to the many issues created by COVID-19 as clearly demonstrated through the many fabulous submissions entered into our new COVID response categories.”
