Four agents, who joined Parseq right from entry level, have more than earned the next step in their careers as they take up their positions as team managers.
After demonstrating leadership qualities and exceeding clients’ expectations, Donna Cooke, Joanne Brookes, Simon Oldham and Kelly Mather have all excelled in their roles and are now being recognised within the latest round of staff promotions.
Parseq has a real commitment to its people and continues to invest heavily in their future. This further demonstrates that upskilling from within the organisation can foster personal development as well as business growth.
Donna has been part of the Parseq family for nine years, she says: “My goal is always to do everything to the best of my ability. I’ve learnt so many new skills which I will take into my new position. I’m really excited!”
With the average length of service at Parseq being 10 years, employee loyalty and commitment is undoubtedly impressive. On receiving her promotion, Joanne comments: “It’s important that our people are aware of opportunities for career progression. It’s a real goal to drive towards which is great as I’m an ambitious person. I’m now thrilled to be leading a brilliant team, but admittedly I’m also a little nervous.”
By investing more than £62,000 in learning and skills over the past three years, Parseq continually develops its people and prepares them for leadership which is proving a real success. For example, all of Parseq’s client team managers have joined the business at entry level and are going from strength to strength.
Simon Oldham who started as a temporary agent, and has now been with Parseq for three years, adds: “You always have to think about the client. It’s a huge factor in our joint success. I enjoy exploring new ways of working and processes that we could put into practice to improve the services Parseq offers.
“By being proactive, I regular highlight my willingness and determination. I’m so pleased to have been promoted to a team manager. All my hard work has been noticed and it’s a great feeling. I felt like I was just a number at previous companies, but at Parseq I feel really valued.”
The longest serving member is Kelly Mather with a record 14 years’ service, she says: “I’ve gained a family at Parseq. Everyone is so approachable and I’m grateful for this amazing opportunity. I will continue to listen and learn to develop my skills even further. My aim is to provide a joyful and productive environment for my staff.”
Craig Naylor-Smith, Parseq’s managing director congratulates all four individuals on their promotions, commenting: “I have every confidence in our newly promoted team managers.
