Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am until 5pm (subject to change to suit business requirements)

Duration of contract: Permanent

Salary: £16,000 per annum

Location: Sunderland

Reporting To: Divisional Resourcing Team Manager

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a Recruitment Resourcer to join our in-house recruitment team.

The role of a Resourcer is to identify, attract and shortlist candidates for the recruitment process to fulfil the requirements of the business as well as providing administrative support to the overall recruitment team.

Key Tasks:

• Identify, attract and shortlist candidates based on recruitment requirements from the business
• Research, identify and attract candidates using all appropriate methods to satisfy job requirements
• Placing adverts on various job board platforms in line with company procedures
• Monitor responses and applications via the recruitment system and ensuring all candidates applications are processes efficiently
• Managing internal communication boards up to date with vacancies
• Quality, shortlist and present suitable candidates against define job vacancies
• Conduct telephone screening with suitable candidates
• Manage and develop candidate relationships while ensuring a first-class candidate journey experience
• Operate in line with relevant legislation and compliance requirements

Knowledge & Experience:

• Previous experience in recruitment is preferred but not essential
• Experience working in an office/contact centre environment
• Excellent IT skills. Knowledge of working with CRM and recruitment software would be advantageous
• Strong organisation and planning skills
• Ability to work to targets
• Work well under pressure
• Excellent communication skills – both over the telephone and via email/letter
• Team player
