Entuity Consultant

JOB PURPOSE: 

We are looking for an Entuity Consultant to support the Team Manager to provide an outsourced service which meets the service delivery description, whilst supporting the Team Manager in developing the Team to its full potential.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• • Design, configure, and implement Entuity network monitoring and management system in a complex enterprise environment
  • Ensure that the BMC Entuity system is fully functional and meets the needs of the organization
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Entuity system issues
  • Work with other team members to optimize system performance and ensure that the system is up to date with the latest patches and upgrades
  • Analyze system logs and performance data to identify trends and potential issues
  • Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support as needed
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies in network monitoring and management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3 – 6 years of experience in designing, configuring, and implementing Entuity in an enterprise environment
  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, protocols, and services, including TCP/IP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
  • Experience with network monitoring tools such as Entuity, SolarWinds, or Nagios
  • Experience with scripting and automation using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
  • Ability to analyze system logs and performance data to identify trends and potential issues
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
